This is one of our favorite wedding stories that Spotlight DJ’s had the pleasure of being a part of. We want your wedding day to be everything you envision and more!
We wanted to give you a taste of the memories we create.
Brian & Lisa had their high energy wedding reception at the huge Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake in the month of July. If you haven’t been to this resort before, put it on your to-do list. It is a romantic stay, a quiet retreat for the weekend and an elegant place to hold your wedding reception. The resort is about an hour north of Milwaukee offset on Elkhart Lake.
Brian & Lisa held their wedding ceremony outside on the resort grounds with a beautiful view overlooking the stunning blue lake. The resort grounds provide amazing scenery with a path leading you around the resort there are many picture opportunities. We provided the ceremony music and microphone services outside to accommodate the wedding ceremony. Lisa walked down the aisle to the famous “Cannon in D” song and after saying “I Do” to her new husband Brian, they received a thunderous round of applause from family and friends sharing their special day with them.
After the ceremony they were able to take in the beautiful weather and get pictures around the resort such as near the waterfall, in front of the resort main entrance and down on the beach by Elkhart Lake.
The majority of their wedding guests were also staying at the Osthoff Resort that evening and were also enjoying appetizers and drinks while enjoying the breathtaking views.
The wedding reception began later that evening. As guests entered the reception hall there were “Ooooos!” and “Ahhhhs” as they looked around the room and noticed the elegant white lighting that was illuminating the pillars and walls. Spotlight DJ’s placed lighting on the floor around the perimeter of the reception hall, also called uplighting, to create an elegant atmosphere that make the hall appear to “glow” with light.
Brian & Lisa had a very lively and fun bridal party, with 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen standing up. The reception began with very high-energy and everybody was very excited. At the start of the reception, just before dinner, we had the wedding guests begin clapping to the beat of the dance music being played and then we introduced the bridal party into the reception hall. Each bridal party couple danced their way into the reception hall to their favorite upbeat Top 40 song with the crowd cheering loudly for each couple. We finished the grand entrance by having all the guests stand and applaud as Brian & Lisa made their way to the dance floor to join the rest of their bridal party. It was quite a way to make an entrance!
After dinner, Brian & Lisa were called to the dance floor to dance their first dance as husband and wife and the evening of dancing started.
The evening was filled with laughter, dancing and many memories.
